Equity Memberships

The Amelia Island Club offers prospective members three equity membership choices, Golf, Tennis, and Social, designed to fit a variety of member interests and circumstances. All membership categories require an initial membership contribution, monthly dues, and an annual dining minimum.

Non-Resident Memberships

Eligible members who reside less than 120 days per year in the community and live more than 100 miles from the Amelia Island Club may join at any of the three equity membership levels and pay dues and dining minimum at a reduced rate.

Equity Membership Eligibility

Any eligible person may submit an application for membership. Applicants must be financially qualified persons of good character, who are at least twenty-one years of age, and own property in the eligible community defined in the Club Plan. Applicants agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the club and sign the club’s membership agreement. Prospective members must submit an application to the Membership Director which will be evaluated by the club’s Membership Committee. Evaluations shall include an interview of the applicant. All evaluations shall be made without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, religious preference, creed or any disabilities of the applicant.

Junior Memberships

A Junior Membership is now available at The Amelia Island Club. This type of membership is exclusively available to approved applicants who are at least 24 years of age and less than 40 years of age. The Junior Membership allowes the individual to pay 40% of the Membership Contribution when they join the club and the payment of the balance is due on their 40th birthday.
 
The Membership Contribution at the time of their initial payment will be considered the Membership Contribution for their membership classification. If the member upgrades in the future, the Membership Contribution at the time of upgrade will apply. They are not eligible for any refund until after their total Membership Contribution.

Junior Members and their families will enjoy full club privileges. All Junior Memberships will be Equity Memberships with Golf, Tennis or Social classifications. All rights, privileges and obligations of their membership classification will apply, except for the right to vote, serve on the Board or share in any liquidation proceeds. 

 
 

National Memberships

The Amelia Island Club offers a limited number of National Memberships for those who do not own property in the eligible community.
